"Becoming Irresistible," sold over 100 copies before I'd written a single paragraph... and NOT because of the sale page
Back then, I had a blog that served freelance copywriters.
I attracted hundreds of fellow writers and aspiring copywriters, and based on the value and insight I was known for, it sold like crazy as soon as I put up a sales page.
Letβs backtrack a few yearsβ¦
In 2007, I was newly laid off as a marketing writer, and I opened my copywriting service online.
It was the virtual equivalent of the Stone Age, with the leading players being Blogger, Google Plus+ (Mountain Viewβs short-lived social media serviceβI loved it), and WordPress 3.0.
What goes around comes aroundβ¦
My bell-bottom jeans from the 70s eventually returned to the fashion runways (not that I wore them againβ¦ Iβm not a Barbarian). Even today, puka shell necklaces (also popular in the SoCal 70s).
That is whatβs happened with Becoming Irresistible
Iβve considered revising it for a couple of years. Still, itβs only in the past six months that Iβve begun to notice the parallels between the recommendations in Becoming Irresistible and those popular today for attracting clients.

Why did the book sell so well before I wrote it?
Because of one reason:
βTHEY KNEW AND TRUSTED ME.β
And the price was a $79 Basic package and a $99 Premium package (with bonuses, etc.).
When you provide an excellent service (in my case it was copywriting), customers are much more likely to buy from you over and over.
